NavionTruck Comprehensive Insurance: Full Protection for Your GPS
Real peace of mind against the unexpected: coverage for damage, theft, and out-of-warranty faults for your GPS navigator.
NavionTruck’s comprehensive insurance is designed to provide wide-ranging coverage and responsive support. Below are the main conditions.
Insurance Coverages
- Accidental damage: physical damage that prevents the device from working, including liquid damage.
- Theft: removal of the device with violence or intimidation.
- Larceny: removal of the device without violence or intimidation.
- Out-of-warranty faults: faults not covered by the legal warranty once it has expired.
Insurance Exclusions
The insurance does not cover:
- Damage or losses occurring before the policy was taken out.
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality.
- Loss or misplacement without evidence of theft or larceny.
- Intentional damage or gross negligence by the customer.
- Damage already covered under the standard warranty while it is still active.
Contract Conditions
- Deadline for subscription: at the time of purchase from the product page or within fifteen (15) days afterwards via our sales department, providing evidence that the product is in good condition.
- Contract formalisation: requires a signed agreement between NavionTruck and the customer, with a 24-month premium subscription.
Insurance Duration
- Valid for 24 months from the date of subscription. Non-renewable.
- Coverage automatically ends if the premium is unpaid for 60 days or at the end of the contract period.
Claim Procedure
- Notification: notify NavionTruck within a maximum of 7 working days of the incident.
- Documentation: provide the required documents; for theft or larceny, a police report is mandatory.
- Inspection: allow access to the device for repair or replacement, as appropriate.
Device Replacement
In the event of irreparable damage or theft, NavionTruck will provide a replacement device with equivalent performance and updated technology.
Additional Information
- The premium covers 2 years of protection and is paid monthly over 24 months from the subscription date.
- The insurance is non-renewable; it must be reassessed once the period ends.
- If a claim is made, the customer must pay all outstanding instalments before the repaired product or new device is dispatched.
- This is not a general “comprehensive” insurance. For broader coverage, a specific additional policy can be arranged.
How to Subscribe to the Insurance?
- Via the product page when making the purchase.
- Or within 15 days afterwards through our sales department.
- After subscribing, you will receive the contract to formalise and activate the coverage.
