NavionTruck All-Risk Insurance: Total Protection for Your GPS

Real peace of mind against unexpected events: coverage for damage, theft, and out-of-warranty failures for your GPS navigator.

NavionTruck’s all-risk insurance is designed to provide broad coverage and agile support. Below are the main terms and conditions.

Coverage

  • Accidental damage: physical damage that prevents the device from functioning, including liquid damage.
  • Theft: device taken through force or intimidation.
  • Larceny: device taken without force or intimidation.
  • Out-of-warranty failures: breakdowns not covered by the legal warranty after it has expired.

Exclusions

This insurance does not cover:

  • Damage or losses occurring before the policy start date.
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect device functionality.
  • Loss or disappearance without evidence of theft or larceny.
  • Intentional damage or gross negligence by the customer.
  • Damage already covered by the standard warranty while still valid.

Contract Terms

  • Enrollment period: at the time of product purchase on the product page or, at most, within fifteen (15) days through our sales team, providing proof that the purchased product is in good condition.
  • Contract formalization: requires a signed agreement between NavionTruck and the customer, with the premium subscribed over 24 months.

Insurance Duration

  • Valid for 24 months from the date of enrollment. Non-renewable.
  • Coverage automatically ends due to non-payment after 60 days or at the end of the contracted period.

Claim Process

  1. Notification: inform NavionTruck within a maximum of 7 business days from the incident.
  2. Documentation: submit required documents; for theft or larceny, a police report is mandatory.
  3. Inspection: provide access to the device for repair or replacement, as applicable.

Device Replacement

In the event of irreparable damage or theft, NavionTruck will provide a replacement device with equivalent features and updated technology.

Additional Information

  • The premium covers 2 years of protection and is paid monthly over 24 months from the contract date.
  • The insurance is non-renewable; it must be reassessed at the end of the term.
  • If a claim is made, the customer must pay all outstanding installments before the repaired product or new device is shipped.
  • This service is not a general all-risk insurance. For broader coverage, a separate specialized insurance can be contracted.

How to Enroll in the Insurance?

  • From the product page at the time of purchase.
  • Or within 15 days after purchase via our sales team.
  • After enrollment, you’ll receive the contract to formalize and activate your coverage.
